Right-To-Know Law Act 3 of 2008 is Pennsylvania's new Right-To-Know Law. On December 15, 2008, the Vernon Township Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2008-9 which establishes the procedure by which Vernon Township will address requests made to it for records under the Right-To-Know Law which took effect January 1, 2009. The purpose of Vernon Township's Open Records Policy and Act 3 is to provide access to public records of Vernon Township, to preserve the integrity of the records of Vernony Township, and to minimize the financial impact to the citizens requesting public records.
